Quran: This is possible. In Women 1:17, it states, "Allah accept the repentance of those who do evil in ignorance and repent soon afterwards; to them will Allah turn in mercy." New Testament, Book of Mormon, and Modern Prophets: A person must have knowledge that something is wrong before he can sin. The New Testament states in James 4:17, "Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin." Sin comes when an individual makes a choice to do something he knows to be wrong.
