Yes. Prophets in the New Testament, Book of Mormon, and Modern Prophets all bear witness of Jesus Christ. In addition, the Torah (and the Book of Mormon) bear witness of the Messiah. The Book of Mormon clearly indicates that the Messiah is Jesus Christ. The New Testament records fifty prophecies of the Messiah in the Torah and the Old Testament which were fulfilled by Jesus Christ. The Quran refers to Jesus Christ as a prophet. In one place, it uses the term Messiah in connection with Him. It does not, however, believe that He was the Son of God, or that He suffered for our sins. The Bhagavad Gita does not refer to Jesus Christ in any way, nor does it refer to prophets.

The Quran does not teach that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and will come in His glory. It does not state that there will be a "last prophet." It does say that God will always send a /messenger before destroying a people. It states, "Never have We destroyed a town without sending down messengers to warn it." Muslims widely believe that Muhammad is the last prophet and in support of that belief citing the Quran that says Muhammad is the "seal of the prophets." The New Testament and Book of Mormon both speak of a prophet or prophets in the latter times. The New Testament says that Jerusalem will have two prophets in the last times who will be slain and then come to life again. The Book of Mormon speaks of a latter-day prophet named Joseph, who shall be named after his father. All of this is to be before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Amos, in the Old Testament, speaks that God will regularly speak to His prophets , else "do nothing."

Yes. The New Testament indicates in Revelation that there will be "two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days." It then states that their bodies shall be killed and "their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified." After "three days and a half the Spirit of life from God entered into them." It also states that, "they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth."
