Modern Prophets: Yes. We are God's spirit children and lived with Him as spirits before we were born. We were loved, taught, and prepared for this life.
Quran: States God does not have children. It does reference a meeting with God before this life which angels and Satan attended. Modern Prophets confirms the event, but states that we were those angels.
